Platform Engineer
Overview
We have a bold vision: to become the global standard for core software solutions in the insurance industry. Our aim is to achieve this by developing a truly cloud-native solution that can scale limitlessly—and we want you to be part of that journey.
Our values—Trust, Openness, Passion, Innovation, and Care—serve as our guiding compass. They shape how we work every day, our relationships with clients, and the way we collaborate as a team.
Opportunity
Your responsibilities
▸ Build and own the core IaC codebase (Ansible, Pulumi/Terraform) — reusable, versioned modules that become the standard for all SaaS client environments, across AWS and on-premises.
▸ Consult and support teams automating client environment provisioning.
Kubernetes & Deployments
▸ Write and maintain Helm charts and cdk8s manifests for Java-based applications; manage Docker pipelines for consistent, secure deployments.
▸ Troubleshoot and tune Kubernetes clusters, including Oracle WebLogic workloads.
R&D Environments & AWS
▸ Build and maintain core R&D environments (VMs and containers) for engineering and QA — stable and reproducible.
▸ Own Oracle Database infrastructure in R&D (provisioning, patching, performance) and manage AWS internal environments: networking, IAM, and cost.
Observability
▸ Build Grafana dashboards and alerting for platform health and performance; proactively resolve bottlenecks before they become incidents.
What you bring to the table
▸ 3–6 years in a Platform, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering role.
▸ Hands-on IaC experience with Ansible (config management) and Terraform or Pulumi (provisioning).
▸ Kubernetes and Helm in production — writing and maintaining charts, debugging clusters.
▸ Docker containerisation, image pipelines, and AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, S3).
▸ Experience with Oracle Database or a comparable enterprise RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MSSQL) — provisioning, patching, basic performance tuning.
▸ Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and comfort working across cloud and on-premises.
Nice to Have
▸ Oracle WebLogic exposure; cdk8s familiarity; Grafana dashboard experience; scripting in Python, Bash, or Groovy.
You
▸ Own problems end-to-end, communicate clearly across technical and non-technical teams, and thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
